Work will always go faster with music. If your favorite songs are on an audio CD, your computer may be slowed down because of the time it takes to start reading that CD or to launch a suitable software to play the music. Using Orange CD Player, you can listen to your audio tracks and not bother with complex interfaces or useless features.

Orange CD Player is a free, lightweight software which can be download swiftly. The package will take up almost 2 Mb of your disk space and the installation process will not take more than a minute.

There is no interface you need to interact with, at least not for playing your audio CDs. When running it for the first time you will be prompted to create a new database, browse for an existing one or restore from a backup. After creating a new database, you will be given three options. These include downloading the CDs information from the Internet, inserting it manually or not performing any of the two tasks.

The playback options for the audio tracks can be accessed by right clicking the program's system tray icon. You can play, pause or stop a track, select a different one or even set the volume level from the menu which will show up. You can even jump to any point of the track with the aid of a slider, found in one of the submenus.

One of the options from this menu lets you access a playlist where you can add and remove tracks or place them in a certain order. This menu contains most of the important options you would find in any other player. You can even edit the properties of a CD or a track, access a general settings panel and if you get Orange CD Catalog, from the same developers, you will be able to organize your music collection from the same menu.
